McKnight Foundation Partners with MN Responsible AI Institute to Advance Ethical AI Readiness Across Teams
Minneapolis, MN — September 10, 2025 — The Minnesota Responsible AI Institute, recently partnered with the McKnight Foundation to deliver a transformative workshop focused on ethical AI integration and organizational readiness. The session, titled “Leading What’s Next,” brought together more than half of McKnight’s staff for a hands-on experience that bridged foundational literacy, ethical discernment, and real-world application.
Hosted at a pivotal moment in the AI landscape, the workshop invited staff to explore the mindful use of AI in alignment with McKnight’s mission and values. Participants engaged in open dialogue around both the promise and the risks of emerging technologies, including concerns about workforce disruption, climate impact, and data confidentiality.
“Responsible AI is a practice,” said Dr. Adams. “It requires transparency, ethics, and collaboration. We’re proud to support leaders who are ready to integrate AI with intention and steward its use for generational impact.”
This collaboration reflects McKnight Foundation’s commitment to ethical innovation and the Minnesota Responsible AI Institute’s mission to guide organizations
through values-based AI adoption. Together, they are modeling what it means
to lead with clarity, courage, and care in the age of acceleration.
MNRAI continues to serve as a partner helping Minnesota advance its AI workforce readiness agenda. We are ready to contribute strategic insight and implementation support across sectors.
