The Institute Joins Concordia College’s 2025 Faith, Reason, and World Affairs Symposium - Moorhead, MN - September 17, 2025

The Minnesota Responsible AI Institute was honored to participate in Concordia College’s 2025 Symposium, “Responsibly Engaging With AI to Make a Difference in the World.” Dr. Elizabeth M. Adams, Chief Engagement Officer and global strategist in Responsible AI, delivered a keynote to over 1,000 students, faculty, and staff—calling for intentional leadership and ethical integration of AI across sectors.

“Concordia’s commitment to shaping the future with intention was undeniable,” said Dr. Adams. “President Irvine’s closing message affirmed the kind of values-driven leadership we need to explore and apply AI responsibly.”

Throughout the visit, Dr. Adams and Concordia faculty explored opportunities to bring students to the Twin Cities for immersive learning experiences hosted by the Minnesota Responsible AI Institute. These experiences will allow students to engage with real-time organizational challenges, connect academic insight with applied impact, and contribute to shaping future-ready AI ecosystems. “We’re co-creating spaces where curiosity meets responsibility,” said Dr. Adams. “This is how we build trust and prepare ethical innovators.”

The Minnesota Responsible AI Institute is at the forefront of advancing education, workforce development, and sustainability through responsible technology integration—actively guiding seven of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. 

As Minnesota accelerates its AI workforce readiness agenda, the Institute remains a committed partner, offering strategic insight and hands-on implementation support across sectors.
