Minnesota Responsible AI Institute Establishes Affiliation with Z-Inspection®

The Minnesota Responsible AI Institute (MNRAI) is pleased to announce our affiliation with the Z-Inspection® initiative, reinforcing a shared commitment to aligning trust-based AI methodologies with workforce development strategies for Responsible AI adoption.
Z-Inspection® is a holistic process for evaluating the trustworthiness of AI-based technologies at different stages of the AI lifecycle. In particular, it focuses on identifying and discussing ethical issues and tensions through the development of socio-technical scenarios.
The process has been published in IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society. Z-Inspection® is distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons License (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike CC BY-NC-SA). Z-Inspection® is listed in the new OECD Catalogue of AI Tools & Metrics.
Trust-Based AI for Workforce Development
The Institute will assess how the Z-Inspection® process may complement our workforce development strategies, identifying the best ways to integrate AI trust-based approaches into career pathways. This affiliation also provides an opportunity to determine how Z-Inspection® could support future pilot initiatives.
This affiliation reinforces the Institute’s commitment to integrating Responsible AI principles into workforce practices, ensuring their long-term adoption for industry impact.
